First designed in 1971 by Don Pye the H25.5 is a small yacht with beautiful lines and high free boards. The Hustler 25.5 was originally available for sale in the UK from the now defunct Island Yacht sales based on Mersea Island, Essex.
The first Hustler 25.5 called UFO was commissioned and built by Landamores for Richard Mathews (The founder of Oyster Marine). Without doubt the H25.5 for her size is fast, very powerful and a very solid sea boat with a 40% ballast ratio and therefore very stiff by modern standards.
At present the author does not have a clear total number of Hustler 25.5’s built. But it is believed there were approximately 140 built, the HOA is looking to verify this number.
